Whale Yes! page 1

A comic featuring a close up of a whale's back breaching in New York Harbor, a binocular framed view of same whale bowing steam from blowhole, Phillip Gerba and coworker discussing whale, and Trinity Church.

Following the Bronx buffalo story nicely this is another story about how concerted effort can make a big difference. Back when Star Trek IV was made the writers thought it was all but a certainty that most whale species would be extinct by the beginning of the twenty first century, however because of the effort of many organization, not only are there the same number of whale species as there were back then there are far more individual whales. It is also good to know that New York harbor is not the only waterway that has been cleaning up it's act. Due to community efforts as well as increased government regulations cities throughout the country have seen more wildlife in their waters in this century than anyone in the last could have hoped for.

I apologize for getting this one out a little late, but it has been a trying week for this country. For those of you reading this in the future last week was the week George Floyd was murdered by a police officer. This led to, among other worse things, a personal state of mind that was not conducive to working on this comic.
