Cemetery Monk page 1

A comic featuring A monk hood parakeet perched on a headstone, a communal parrot nest built in the entryway of Greenwood Cemetery, a group of monk parakeets chacing off a hawk, and a parrot perched on a viatnam protest sighn held by a hippie giving a peace sighn.

I've always loved parrots. They may be noisy and rambunctious, but there is something about them that makes me want to watch them for a little longer. I did ride my bike out to Greenwood Cemetery to sketch just before the bulk of the COVID-19 quarantine measures went into place here in NYC. Not only did I get a few good sketches, and reverence photos, but I did see a group of them chase off a hawk.
